Are you going to buy BF 4?

I will wait and see if it is really worth a buy that soon, but maybe i will wait and just get the premium edition one later when it gets a price drop, i ain't in a much of a hurry to get a new FPS anyway.

I think maybe what you mean is even when a new BF or CoD games gets released they are too similar to the one before? Is that what you mean?
Yeah thats exactly what i mean actually. I mean it just feels like they really arent doing anything new to their game besides adding some new weapons and vehicles and such. Usually when you see a new installment of a game, they try really hard to revamp the engine, improve gameplay a lot, and make it a completely new game that is still on the basis of what the last game was. Nowadays Call of Duty just releases a new game every year and it really has nothing but more killstreaks, guns, perks, ect. I just dont want to see Battlefield turn into that but from what ive seen of Battlefield 4, it really just looks like the third one with new stuff. I just dont like how game developers are handling games lately.

Just an example, do you think GTA V would be as amazing as it is if they only released it 2 years after GTA IV? Or even the Elder Scrolls games. Call of Duty really just makes me sick ugh.

I think that's what he meant and to be honest, I have to agree with him here. Buying the same game every year just doesn't sit well with me.

Its not only the fact that its the same game every year but its the fact that everyone still moves onto it and its harder to find games on the last game even though theyre practically the same thing. I mean its a new thing so obviously most people who have the money are going to move on whether the game is innovative and new or not, and that means a lot of the community for the last one will disappear, forcing you to buy the new one. I shouldnt be so worked up over this but i really wish game developers wouldnt be such money grubbers, and instead make a really creative, new, and exciting game that doesnt feel and seem exactly like the past 3-4 games theyve released.

Yes, definitely. I was going to get Watch Dogs first and just play that but since it got delayed my go too game is going to be BF4, I was getting it sooner or later since I spent hundreds of hours playing BF3 and loved every second of it.

I was leaning COD initially but the more I read about BF the more I lean in that direction. Details like extra large maps, and 64 member multi-player gameplay sound like it would result in an awesome gaming experience.

Yes I will be buying it BUT I will be waiting until black friday. The reason I will be waiting is that I am a cheap gamer and hate to pay full price for anything. Gamestop will have Battlefield 4 for $29.99 for all platforms on Black Friday, what better time to get it?

I've probably spent more time playing BF3 than any other game last gen. I'm picking up my BF4 copy with my PS4 and cannot wait. Though unlike last time I won't be getting the season pass. I felt pretty burned when over half of BF3's dlc were maps that I didn't consider very good or felt like they were either designed specifically for console or pc so they didn't really work for both. Thank god that's passed and we get 64 players now and 60fps. Can't wait.

It comes with my PS4 bundle so I'll play it. I am not very good at military shooters though. And won't even touch online lol

Dude, GO ONLINE.

Even if you suck at it, what do you have to lose? a few minutes time? What do you gain?
- Maybe youre not as bad as you thought.
- Playing against human opponents forces you to think on your toes. Do it long enough and i guarantee you'll at least figure out how to live longer if not kill faster. this translates to the single player portion if you end up hating online.
- If you end up loving online the possibilities are endless. Play with the same group, meet new people, play different maps, unlock things.
JUST DO IT!

Yes, for the better console of course. It's finally going to be optimized to 64 players on the map and quite possibly run on 1080p. The next-gen PlayStation is going to bring a lot of new innovationand I can wait to see BF4 on the PS4. The amount of content that Dice brought with BF3 and now BF4, blows my mind and there bring back extensive destructible environments! BF3 was awesome, but it's new counterpart is on a whole other level! See you on the field guys!

Oh but I am bad LOL -you'll be looking for my screenname and tell everyone I'm an easy kill, huh? :P

I'll have Battlefield 4 on PS4 before receiving my console. So I can enjoy the offer of exclusive DLC for preorders.

So yes, I am planning to have Battlefield 4. I also buy the Premium Account. It will be expensive game, but I know I will not regret it, just like with Battlefield 3.

Im going to but Battlefield 4 for sure, very excited for it and Call of Duty ghosts. Im the type of guy that pretty much likes any shooting game, dont care for picking sides all that much.

I really want to, hopefully for PS4! But i'll need to buy the PS4 first. hahah
For what I've already seen this game is very promising, maybe one of the best fps's ever made, so I'm really excited to try it out.

I already purchased this game, and I'm really glad I did. The main single player campaign is impressive with modern graphics, many weapons and explosive selections, and very good character control. The world and fights are realistic on a hard difficulty level, and the maps are huge comparable to the previous release. Good game but unfortunately the main campaign is very short. :(

This is PS4 game section so even though you have it on PS3 are you getting on PS4 as well then?

If I did get it, I wouldn't end up getting it for the PS4. When it comes to FPS games, if it's available on the PC I'd much rather play it there, and I tend to avoid getting them at all for the consoles. On the other hand, if the console had mouse and keyboard support I might consider it, since the main reason that I don't like it is using a gamepad for the control interface. They're great for some games, but I don't like them for FPSs

I would really think about it simply because I've got nothing else going on if I buy the PS4. It's going to be slim picking for a while, so BF4 is something that could keep me busy. I haven't played it on the PS3 so for me it would be a great buy.

I certainly agree with you that releasing a BF4 This close to BF 3 is a little too soon. I too, enjoy playing Battlefield 3 on a frequent basis still. But perhaps it is better to not saturate our experience of one game before we get a sequel? I will definitely be buying Battlefield 4 on PS4, although perhaps not for a little while.

I haven't played any first person shooters since Modern Warfare 2, but this looks like a decent game from the footage that I've seen. I'll definitely consider picking this one up.
