Armored Core: Verdict Day

I loved the Armored Core games on the original PlayStation. However, I stopped following the series on the PlayStation 2 because my interest in mechs waned. Now that a new title is on the works, I think that I have a renewed interest in giant robots battling it out. First thing that I expect is that the robots would be fully customizable. Of course online play would probably be very enjoyable. The developers say that there would be a constant online battlefield. Sounds very interesting.

I have been following and playing the series since the PSX as well, and I can say the series has retained its quality, despite the lack of popularity. The customization in Armored Core 4 and 4 Answer are incredibly detailed. You can customize down to load-balancing an antenna on your shoulder piece, and even color it differently. No other series on console has come close to the amount of mech customization of this series, its really amazing no one else even tried. The huge amount of missions often demanded precise overhauls of your rig, and the 4th installment was very fast-paced in its combat. In Armored Core V, the pace of combat was slower and less twitch, and they streamlined the customization a little. So, they off set by having longer missions and demanding more endurance and deliberation of pilots.

With online, you could of course battle and form clans, as well as trade schematics for mechs, and even play missions in co-op. I am a solid fan of the series, and hope its popularity surges again.

Honestly... I never did like the AC V due to its slow movement and lack of boosting up or side ways or flying for hours or for the entire mission with correct additives and customization, but at AC 4 / For Answer... you could control your whole mech up and down. Thus the V has coop missions online. Why not put it in the For Answer or a newer AC like For Answer game would come put. For an example, I like the medium mech with fast movement and focus ability like white glint or the leader of Orca. Also... Some people do like to play in heavier mech or lighter mech. Why not bring the real game back to where it started just a bit difference in missions or weapons or map as in open world like the new games nowadays such as The division/ Destiny. AC fans or players would love to see that.... So Boo to AC V/ Verdict Day
