Next question:

So, there are some theoretical scientists saying our universe might be a digital one, nothing more than a simulation running in a super computer, right? Their point is that, with how quickly technology advances and how realistic our own simulations are getting, there will be a point where, in theory, we are able to simulate a full universe, including the life and intelligence within, which, within that simulation, will also grow smarter and smarter over time, until they themselves possess the technology to simulate a universe, creating an endless cycle of simulations. So who's really to say that we aren't part of one of those already.
When talking about how we could possibly find out about that, some people say we should look for faults in the system, saying that no simulation can ever be perfect.

But to that I say, well... I think we already kinda found some, but we keep desperately trying to explain them. Like, things like the double slit experiment and a lot of other things in quantum mechanics. Much of that could be called a bug in the system, faulty simulation but no, we try to explain it.
So what could we POSSIBLY find, that makes us go "oh yeah, that's gotta be a bug"? HUH?!? TELL ME, FANTA! WHAT?!

I think the fact that murders, rapists, criminals in general and idiots still exist in the world suggests to me that there is probably a problem in our design. But all we can really see is the effect (ie: people raping people or whatever), but the bug is the root of the problem. At the moment the best we have for these are unhealthy upbringings (eg: abusive parents) and destructive social opinions (eg: "it's the woman's fault she got raped because she was waking around alone at night") that seem to be the problems. The best solutions for those are to be nurturing and educative towards other people, which are things I tend to strive for in my life and that I wish more people did.

God, it's amazingly sad how many people actually say that kinda stuff...


But yeah, I meant my question more literally. Because there are apparently scientists that are literally looking for faults in the system that prove this simulation hypothesis, but when people see things like this or stuff that happens on a quantum level or even on an astronomical level they don't go "YEP, this proves it! We're definitely part of a simulation!" but rather go "well, a particle, when not observed, exists in a super-state, meaning it exists in an infinite amount of probable states at the same time and with observation decided which of these possible states to go with lel" and explain it with theses like parallel universes and such, which for me strays too far into fiction and even religion territory anyway, but my point is that if they explain all these things like that, what could they possibly looking for that makes them believe they have proven their hypotheses about the universe being a huge simulation?
