Have we any Battlefield fans around here? The multiplayer demo they showed at E3 was pretty darn good. What impressed me the most was when the building collapsed. Doesn't seem like much but I found it pretty awesome. I just wish one day they will announce Bad Company 3 (sadly, from the latest news, that's not going to be a reality for a long time)

What are your thoughts? Did you like the demo at E3? Or are you not convinced?

Honestly, I've never played the Battlefield series although I've desperately wanted to try, and I have to say that it looked quite promising. I'm not sure if this is an already existing feature, but I loved the attachment for guns to be able to have both a scope and an iron sight. That's one of my biggest pet peeves in a FPS as I always have to switch between different guns for different ranges. Aside from that, the storyline didn't seem to be anything notably more impressive, but the physics, especially for large objects, seemed to be much better!

As a fan of the series (even thought i like the old games better) i hope that they improve the multiplayer for this on the console versions. I would love to see huge battles with a lot of players at the same time in one match.

Oh boy, just want i wanted to hear. Will definitely get this for the PS4 then, also hope to get into some sort of beta like they did with the previous game so i can try the game out.

Well if you got the limited edition of Medal of Honor: Warfighter you are guaranteed a spot in the BF4 Beta.

I have never tried any of the Battlefield games, but I have thought about picking up BF3 because of the graphics. I'm probably going to give BF4 a try for the PS4 most likely because I want to play, and see how good it is. From the reviews I've heard, and the people I've listened to, I have yet to hear one negative review from anyone about BF3.

I had only recently gotten into Call of Duty so to go head first into a new style of gameplay was little jarring for me. Still, after seeing the new gameplay for Battlefield 4, especially the demo that was shown at E3, I have to say that I am definitely looking forward to the game. The multiplayer looks like it's going to be amazing. Can't wait to play it.

I'd heard that multiplayer for Battlefield was rich, but the campaigns and single player modes were a bit lacking in some respects. For example, limited co-op (something I hold high as I like to mix the main storyline with a bit of multiplayer with a friend or two), pretty short gameplay, etc. Other features like destructible terrain and less intuitive things you might not expect from an fps sound very appealing, so I'll probably be giving this one a shot. It'll be a pain having to adjust to the new feel of the controls, though.

Was that an ipad at 4:21? If the freedom of movement is like that video this will be awesome. I much prefer the sandbox to the linear gameplay of Call Of Duty. Graphically, I can see the jump in the backgrounds and skyboxes but the textures indoors could use a little work.

Battlefield 2 was an excellent game. I haven't played Battlefield 3 yet, but I definitely want to give it a try before 4 comes out. The things I've been hearing about Battlefield 4 sound great, but I'd still like to wait and see a demo or something before I make any definitive decisions. I'm not planning on buying either new console anytime soon, so I may end up waiting to buy Battlefield 4 at the same time.

I know it's been confirmed that the Xbox One version will run on 60 FPS, but hope PS4 will also run on 60 FPS. I can't see why not considering the PS4 is the more powerful of the two.

I'll either be getting Battefield 4 or Cod: Ghosts since they're very similar games, I don't see much point in purchasing both at the stupid prices they will have at launch. :/

I will most definitely get this over COD Ghosts. Battlefield usually has much better gameplay in my opinion. Battlefield 3 did not disappoint me so I know this one won't.

I would be very surprised if the PS4 version of BF4 does not run better than the Xbox One. They seem to be heavily promoting the number of players online etc and I would think the stronger system would naturally handle it better. I guess it could come down to the dev kits but everything we are hearing from the devs indicate Sony really has it together this time.

Battlefield 4 is THE game I expect console Next-Gent.
We will finally have the chance to play 64 players on consoles and the graphics will be almost the same level as the PC.

What could be better?

The PS3 was very very edge? We will make a leap forward on all fronts.
I heard that the first DLC will be the remake of the map Operation Metro and Caspian Border.

I'm looking forward to Battlefield 4. Most of the criticism of Battlefield 3 I read here is accurate but the cat and mouse feel of the game play made up for the imperfections. I hope at 60 frames the new release will be one of my all time favorites.
