What are some of the best football games on Xbox? How do those games compare to football games on other consoles?

Football as in soccer or Football as in American football?

And surely the Fifa games are the better ones and each year they add great new features. IMO they're not going to differ on different consoles... Unless you're talking about next/current gen.

Sports games in general tend not to different when moving to new consoles. Just graphically and rosters for that year, really. There are some tweaks and all of that.

Updates to sports games is mainly all you get. You know, new modes, new rosters, improvements. I do dig FIFA more than NFL games though. Sometimes I believe that like the random update they're like placebo updates where you say something vague like "Improved Precision Movement puts YOU in control." It's no different from last year really. Maybe the jump from say 2014 to 2016 you'll notice a difference, but 2014 to 2015 not really, but people will feel "This is more fluid than 2012 and 2013."

Placebo updates? I've never considered that. I remember you mentioned that as a joke over on the Xbox One forum about the console update. I can see a company getting away with that if they put out a console, not so much with games.
