beta coming 8th October

Star Wars Battlefromt is getting a beta early October.
So far,looks like it will be an open beta so all can try.

As part of the beta, you'll get to try out Battlefront's massive-scale 40-player mode, Walker Assault, on the Hoth map. The special Hero characters Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker will also be available to unlock. Check out the image below for a snapshot of what to expect. In addition, the beta will let you try out a Survival Mission on Tatooine where you'll play as Rebels and must push back advancing Imperial forces.

On top of Walker Assault and the Survival Mission, the beta will feature a new mode called Drop Zone. EA said it will talk more about this new mode "in the weeks ahead" before the beta starts in October.

Also it will have offline and online modes.
So the beta will have MP battles for up to 40 players while the offline part of the beta will have co-op mission survival.Basically just defeating wave after wave of enemies.

Also,a few more details:

1.Approx download size for the beta is 7GB for PS4 and Xbox One and about 11GB for PC.
2.You will be able to level up your character to lvl 5,that's the beta cap.

Looks like there will not be an offline part in beta after all now.
The full game however will be able to play offline co-op.

Wish I had seen this earlier, the game looks amazing from YouTube videos I have seen of it. Any chance to still sign up for the beta or is it all closed with release so close?

Found that after googling it. Game looks really really good visually and like it will be a lot of fun.
