Bethesda Trademarks "Fallout 4"

It is a wait and see game, but out of Bethseda this is the game most have been waiting for. It's up there with "Will there be a GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One", "What's next for Assassin's Creed", and "Will there be a new Evergrace for PS4."

People should listen to RobDaCool more often. His sources are pretty insightful.

It's really disturbing people don't listen to Rob and his sources.

This honestly shouldn't come as any kind of surprise, especially since Fallout 3 and New Vegas were very successful. I believe in an interview a few years back they already pseudo-confirmed that Fallout 4 was going to be a thing. Personally, I'm very ecstatic that it's been confirmed. I've absolutely loved the Fallout Series since the first one on PC, and the offshoots like Tactics and even the top down game on the original xbox/PS2. Don't get me wrong, I love Oblivion and Skyrim, but Fallout just takes it to the next level with the hacking mechanics and weapons/armor that provide several different things unlike enchanting. This time around, if it's going to be on Next-Gen I really, REALLY hope we can finally see some kind of vehicles come into play.

Some vehicles would be cool. Motorcycles, jeeps, truck, and of course the converted death bus. There's fuel somewhere out there and even in Fallout 3 there were some intact vehicles at different places (mostly military vehicles, but they were intact) not to mention the Vertibirds. Just to see random packs of raiders cruising across the wastes while trying to run mercenaries and wastelanders off the road would be entertaining. Fallout is meant to be empty for the most part, but all of this would be cool--just by there being a few vehicles around.

I'm liking that visual. They really need to get some vehicles in the game. Motorcycles are a given, but I'd like a Delorean to plow through raiders and wastelanders with. It would have Deathclaw skin seats.

I'm excited to see what they come up with. A new generation of consoles provides them with the ability to do much more than what we saw in Fallout 3. This could be a game of the year contender if they do it right. I would definitely want vehicles in this new one if it is happening thought. With some of the titles on the PS4 that are coming they need to step it up with Fallout 4.

If I remember correctly this means they MUST use the trade mark in the next 6 months, with the possibility of extending that to a maximum of 2 years. So as far as i can tell Fallout 4 will probably be released between tomorrow and Nov 2015.

To perfectly sum up my reaction to the possibility of Fallout 4 when i read this title.

FALLOUT 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's really building up steam since we're so close to VGX. I can't wait for an official confirmation so we should here something about Fallout 4 soon. If they don't say something during the awards then I'm going to think that we are not going to here anything about the game either until E3 or 2015. With next-gen consoles needing games sooner rather than later, I'm hoping for VGX.

Ah, I suppose that makes it official now. That's good, I heard New Vegas was not a very well-received title with issues relating to the game freezing. I can't imagine they'd want to stop making Fallout games, let alone have the last title in the series be their least popular.

Isn't there a teaser website? I couldn't find the damn link anymore though. :( Great news though! GIVE ME FALLOUT!

There is a teaser website but it's pretty unclear as to wait it's teasing. We know it's Fallout but what we don't know is if it's actually Fallout 4 and we won't know for a while. Bethesda is hinting a lot but hints aren't a confirmation so we're hoping for the best right now. Bethesda will clear things up soon but people are getting impatient for more info.

We'll have to see what happens in the coming months with the teasers and if they get more clear about if this games is actually Fallout 4. Though I would have a bunch of questions firstly where is it going to take place. I want to know everything, characters, locations and certainly weapons.

All aboard the hype train! Choo choo!

I should finish Fallout 3 soon. I always intend to finish it but end up destroying entire towns :[.

My one gripe with New Vegas is that the wasteland felt too crowded with so many map markers. I hope Bethesda can capture the feeling of loneliness and desolation in 3 with the story of New Vegas.

I finished Fallout 3's main story last week and got Broken Steel. When I play I tend to do the right thing. I'm always like "I'm gonna be a rotten bastard this time! YEAH!"

...end up saving folks and whatnot.

It does take considerate effort to be an awful person in a game. My instinct when I play games is to be helpful and do the right thing. It's what I did when I played Fallout 3. It was only later that I had to really force myself to be terrible. I pull the same stuff when I play GTA, I'm so focuesed on the story that I don't really do the whole killing innocent people thing.

See it's easier for me in GTA because the people you encounter on the street are mostly nameless and numerous, plus there's no actual emphasis on being a decent person. The emphasis isn't there in Fallout, but the option is. Plus it's such a small amount of people in Fallout 3 just surviving...in an empty, not bustling world. If I do kill an innocent it's because my skills weren't go enough to undo the neck bomb.

Yeah GTA is different. If I happen to mow over people in a car, I don't really feel that bad about it. Their nameless and faceless with no real personalities, the game kinda presents them to you as cannon fodder. But Fallout is different, I always feel terrible. I don't go out of my way to be a scumbag.
