Did anybody else play Blur? What did you think of it?

I personally really enjoyed the game and don't really understand why so many people thought it was mediocre or worse. I thought the realistic car racing combined with the Mario Kart items was quite charming and I found the AI challenging and fun too. So, what was everybody's beef with it?

I didn't think people had a beef with it. Didn't it get 8's and 9's from most reviewers?

It was pretty damn hard, but that was part of its charm. Maybe that was the cow for many people, that it wasn't an immediately easily accessible game. You had to put in a fair bit of time and effort to get good enough to progress, and that can be daunting for many people. Hell, even I can only do that so many times a year.

The multiplayer was crazy good fun though, I will say that for the game.

Played it a few times, didn't spike enough interest for me to stick around in it.

I'm sure this game was on ps2 anyway i actually don't really like Blur i don't think its a very good game if i'm honest i prefer gran turismo which all its modes etc, like career thing where you build up and get new cars even though blur does have a good racing system.
