Borderlands 2

Does anyone play/still play this game? I got it free on PS+ yesterday and completely lost

Although I find it really fun when I find a multiplayer match, but can't seem to find many

I played it for PC, there doesn't seem to be any other way. You're never short of people to play with on the PC. Borderlands is one of my favorite series but it's way more fun to play with other people. It's not that you can't play it alone, but it's sort of like Left 4 Dead in that more people generally means more fun.

Yeah, people say the game is a lot more fun playing with friends. And considering all my friends are too busy watching Netflix and YouTube to play any game. I am just looking for friends that actually play PS3 games on their PS3. lol

I may do some house cleaning on my PSN later today, who needs people on their friends list if they don't even game?

A fun game, but not nearly as good as the original. The biggest problem is the new scaling of levels and weapons combined with the fact that the variety of weapon stats is vastly decreased. Also, the character classes are not nearly as over the top awesome as before. Some complain the game is too hard but I honestly didn't have a problem with the difficulty. I think it was probably harder than the first one, but that was a good thing. The first one, if you did all the side missions, you were kind of over leveled for the main game. This one if you DON'T do the side missions, you're kind of under leveled for the main game. There's a point where the city moves. If you don't get all those missions done in the city first, you'll have a harder time because by the time you get back in the city, those missions don't give you much XP at all. Also, I really miss the way the original would level up your guns based on what you actually used. If you use the shotguns more, you get better with shotguns. This game got rid of that and has a more generic level up structure that's ok but not great.

I love Borderlands. To this day, I still have a hard time deciding which one I like the most - Borderlands 1 or Borderlands 2. Played the first game a few times as compared with maybe 1-2 times with it's sequel. So maybe I'm leaning towards the first one better?

Anyways RobDaCool, I'll play some B2 with ya ;)

Honestly I heard great things about Borderlands from the internet but yet I don't hear of many people playing it. I haven't tried it but when I looked at the videos/photos, I was totally motivated to go out and buy it. It looks like a fun destruction game that would be great to play between friends. You can play online too right?

I used too, but not anymore. The game is great and I had lots of fun with it, but I just got bored, and bought other games to play, so I kinda forgot about it.
But since it came out for a reasonable time now, there's not many people playing it.

Sadly I never got a chance to sink my teeth into borderlands 2 despite playing the first game. I'm going to pick it up on PS+ I think

I play this all the time on my Mac. I usually just go single and take on the storyline but it's super fun to join multiplayer matches with my friends around campus. They're all level 50 and I'm only level 20 but it's still really fun and the game in general is awesome.

I'm actually replaying the first Borderlands right now, and once I'm done that I'll be moving to 2. The first time I played it I was playing with my husband, but I wanted to give the game a go just on my own :D

Borderlands 2 is a fun, humerous and action packed game, the weapons are creative and inspired, but I usually play on my PC, I don't think alot of people play this game on any console PS3 or otherwise, and like most Post-Gen first person shooters, more people equals more fun. So maybe you should consider getting it for PC then.

I played the crap outta the game on 360, beat it with every character (including the DLC ones and got some up to lv50). I've been ignoring it lately, though

Waiting to see if the Vita version is worthwhile. I play solo most of the time so a portable version sounds excellent.

Wow its coming on Vita *drools*, now that is something worth hearing about, I'd play the crap out of that, if it becomes portable it would be that much more awesome...

I play it on and off. Bought the season pass and still haven't played all of the DLC. Borderlands 2 is more fun when you play with friends though. We should get a PS4Forum match together one of these days.

Thats an inspired idea Titan, I wouldn't mind opening my Jakobs rifle on some of you guys and see if you're any good... #gunzerkers rule!

Then its settled. We should try and get some games together. Who's all interested?
