Breath of Fire 6- it's an online Mobile Game

A New Breath Of Fire Is Coming. It's an Online Mobile Game.

I never played a Breath of Fire game, honestly.

But as a JRPG fan... I need to ignore this in order to keep the rage from building up in me.

There are a couple of good experiences on mobile platform at this point in time. Breath of Fire does have a small history of mobile experiences and they did as much as they could in order to keep with the RPG; but you do lose some of the JRPG type stuff in the translation of mechanics and how much your players will actually play. Basically, story wise, they never opened a new story or iteration of characters on the mobile platform before. If they are doing this now, they are probably going to try to create an experience that relies more on the basic mechanics of the BoF games that draw gamers in.

Here's the huge problems with games like this. No one will pay $15 for a mobile game when there are thousands of awesome mobile games for free or for a $1 - $3. Also, mobile games may take up a couple of gigs. On a phone that's quite a bite, so there's a lot of issues that Devs have to take into consideration while others just say we're going for it.

I hope for BoF's sake that its a good game and reasonably priced.

I can definitely see why some people would be upset by this, as Breath of Fire is a pretty outstanding series and I'm sure many would have loved to see a new game in the series released on a next gen console. Still, I think it would be best to wait and see what the game is like first. For all we know, it could end up being something really great. I'll definitely keep an eye out for it, and if the price is right, I will surely pick it up.

The online mobile game I've ever played was snake on the old Nokia 3315. Few of my friends play this though and like it.
