So a lot of people are reporting that their PS4s are coming in bricked. Their is a solution below to try and solve this. Hopefully the problem isn't widespread and this helps.
1. You'll want to remove the HDD from the PlayStation 4 system.
2. The next step is to power on the PS4 with the HDD still removed from the system.
3. Then turn the PS4 back off and reconnect the HDD back to the console.
4. Power the PS4 system back on again with the HDD reconnected.
5. It should power on into the user interface.
