FIRST: One thing must be made clear,this is ONLY if you buy the digital version of Advanced Warfare.
So buy the digital version on PS3 and you can also download the PS4 digital version as a free upgrade.
Offer for this expires March 31st 2015.
And this is within the same console family as its tied to your PSN account.
So you cant get the 360 version and upgrade to PS4.
Its PS3 to PS4 and 360 to Xbone only.
You can still continue to play either the PS3 or PS4 version too.
Stats etc carry over.
All DLC will purchased will also be available on PS4 for free if you buy the digital PS3 version.
So if you get any of the special ed versions or season pass for PS3 you can also download the PS4 versions.

Personally I will only buy the PS4 as new digital releases at the PSN store on PS3 or PS4 are a rip off anyway.
I can buy a physical copy way cheaper.
And,later,should I chose,I can sell or trade my physical copy,cant do that with digital.
