Buying right away, or holding back?

Are you planning on buying the Vita right away, or are you going to hold off for a while?

I normally take a while to buy new consoles/handhelds/etc. anyway, so I'm going to wait until the price goes down before I buy a Vita. I'll be terribly jealous of everyone who has one before me, though!

It's not in my budget right now so I won't be buying it any time soon. I'm not one to buy things as soon as they come out anyway. I like the "bugs" to be worked out of them. I know that you would think they would be worked out during the production but many times they are not.

If the games are going to be as expensive as suggested in another thread here then I won't be buying at all. If the games end up cheaper I'll wait a while to see if it really takes off. If it doesn't then there won't be many games produced for it anyways.

Well, I've read that the Vita will hit stores in Japan on December 17th and is expected to debut in the USA sometime in 2012, so I probably have enough time to raise enough money to purchase it. I'll probably wait a few months to see if the price drops a little, but I'm definitely going to purchase it next year.

I'm really tempted to buy it right away, but I need some time to save up enough money to actually afford it. I think I'll probably buy it within six months or so of when it's released in the US, though.

I always play the waiting game and the Vita will be no exception. As MsKong pointed out, it remains to be seen whether or not the Vita will be a success. It probably will be, but it depends in part on what how much the price for everything drops. We'll see what happens over the next several months or so.

Like a lot of the others have said, I'll be waiting. I need to wait for the price to come down for it to be worth it. I'll be content with other games until then though. I actually haven't even decided if I'll be getting one for sure.

I will probably go to my local Play n Trade, to see if they get a Vita in. Then I will test the Vita out, to see if it is worth the price. I will probably just end up waiting, unless the Vita is super awesome.

I have been putting back a little money, here and there, so I can buy the Vita. If I hear that the Vita is as awesome, as some say, I will buy it right off. If not, I might skip buying it, altogether.
