Cable connection to receiver/television

lowvolt

New Member
Just bought the PS4. I have an onkyo receiver with HDMI inputs / outputs. However my receiver is about 30+ feet from the television. I have been using composite video with my PS3 and that works well. My question is, will the cable from PS3 work with PS4? Or is there another way to make this connection.
Thank you.

I would buy the long HDMI and run it to the TV. Why so far away if you don't mind me asking?

My television hangs on the wall above a fire place. In order to keep it"clean" I put components in closet.
Bought a 50 foot HDMI. hot it installed. It looks great.
I did however notice though on bf4 after some time of playing I get green pixel dots. If I turn off the t.v it goes away, if I unplug the HDMI it goes away. If I turn off the receiver it goes away. Are you aware of any issues like this
