Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Is "Not the Same Old Call of Duty"

I agree with you. I have been buying the game ever since Cod 4 hoping it would be the same as Cod 4. But if it stayed too similar to Cod 4 I would get bored. At the same time though it seems like all the changes they make to them cater to new players. I don't enjoy it as much because I have worked a long time to get good and they keep making it easier for people to play and less of a learning curve. I'm a pup stomper so I don't like this.

To be fair, Bungie is at least ripping themselves off (i.e. cloning Halo and the Halo experience (kind of). But, alas, a different topic for a different day!)



But doesn't a "who shoots first" mechanic promote camping? It seems like a double-edged sword.

No, maps with ridiculous corners and cover in areas it shouldn't be promote camping.

Give me Black ops 2 maps, with Ghosts hit detection and mechanics, and I would be happy.

They say the same thing everytime. But I am willing to give this game a chance as it seems that Sledgehammer Game is up to really something good.

The only call of duty game i truly liked, was call of duty 2. I played it for the campaign but now it seems like everyone buys cod for the multiplayer.

Hope its not gonna get worse IMO Infinity Ward (The first COD makers) did it right and the more they let treyarch and other comanies water it down the worse its been getting. For years I played tons of COD and a Little BF but when Ghosts and BF4 launched IMO it was no contest BF4 was twice the game(keep in mind I play my First person shooters on PC). Hope they get it right I would like to switch back to COD.

Think Just COD 2 not the big Red one which was a spinoff I think anyway that game had sweet online play also. Bolt rifle only servers were pure skill and tons of fun.

It's a three year cycle. Their are three developer companies and each year. One of them makes a cod game. So you will have to wait till whichever company you like makes it. This year it's sledgehammer
