can i use two ps4 earphones in controller with a 2x converter

my old ps4 got destroyed a few months back, so about a week ago i bought a new white one. the earphone for a mic is annoying though because the audio only goes into one ear, so would i be able to use two earphones at once to get audio in both ears? i found a 2x converter at Dicksmith to make this work aswell

I wouldn't even bother with that and I doubt both stock headsets will work well. Any stereo headphones with a mic you get at an electronic store will work. That's what I use from time to time. You can get a decent set for less than 20 bucks.
