Can Sony sweep Rounds 2 and 3 of the PR bout?

So the stages are set for the next rounds in the heavyweight title PR fight between Sony and Microsoft. After E3 here in the states, the next battlefronts will be Gamescom in Europe in August, and the Tokyo Game Show in Japan in September. Sony easily took the cake last time, but the belt isn't won yet.

Recently, Sony put out more for their hardware, and Microsoft has had a lot of ground to make up for it. In addition, Europe is a sensitive place for the region-locked XB1 and Sony has homefield advantage in Japan. Still, more game news and developments have come out for both sides, and we'll likely see more of that. For all we know there are a lot of teasers that could turn into game changers into these next battles.

Pre-fight analysis and predictions, anyone?

I think Gamescom would be a close fight between the two gaming giants. Microsoft would have adjusted to what Sony has to offer and lay out some of their big guns too. I think the Tokyo Game Show in Japan will have Sony winning it because he has the home court advantage. Lol. What worries me is that Microsoft may still have something up their sleeve while Sony seems to have laid it all out the first time.

Gamescom is always a bit of an add event. The E3 is exclusively a press conference, but anyone can go to Gamescom. Also devs/publishers are also usually very secretive about their work and many don't allow you to record anything. I think that they will use this as an opportunity to reveal some new things but I wouldn't expect this to be the big bout.

I think Sony will be fine, because of course Sony has a functional PR division. While I applaud MS's policy of hiring the mentality disadvantaged I don't think they should have left product development solely in their hands. On top of this what Sony has and needs to play on is that they are the console of the gamer i.e. they built it for gamers rather than expecting gamers to just accept what they're given.

I doubt they'll be able to have the the knockout victory from E3 happen twice, so Sony is probably just playing it smooth now. Gonna stick to the plan and try not to get cocky, is my prediction. If Microsoft fumbles again, they'll probably take advantage of it, but for now they're not gonna press the attack, otherwise it'll make them look like bullies.
