Can't get any sound.

I have just received a ps4 for Christmas, have plugged it into our hd ready tv and the picture comes up fine but there is no audio what do ever. Can anyone offer any advice how to solve this??

You probably have to go into settings on the PS4 and select your sound output to HDMI.

It was automatically set to that. I've tried all of the options. Got a feeling it's the tv. Is there anything I can do to that.

check your tv settings to and still not working it could be the hmdi cord is bad
