Cant Play DVDS or BLU-RAYS

my friends ps4 will not play and dvds or blurays. it has the latest update and i have matched the setting to my own ps4 but it still does not work. Her ps4 is not connected to the net and does updates at my house when they come around.
It gives an error saying it requires internet connection to provide dvd play back.

Anyone have any ideas for me

Hey. Sorry to hear about you're friends issues. The only thing I can think of is some DVDs/Blu-Rays may require an internet connection for DRM reasons. Is this error popping up on every DVD and Blu-Ray she's trying? Is the PS4 fully updated to the latest firmware?
