Changing PSN ID's

Do you think Sony will allow us to change our PSN Id's sometime in the future like how Microsoft does with gamertags?

No, they never have done in the past, so I doubt they ever will do.

I really think it would be a good idea, its very common with username in MMOs. From a financial perspective Sony could charge money from it and make something out of it and fans would reap the benefit too, why not?

I hope they do because I know there are tons of gamers who would love that option. If you're a Japanese PS3 gamer, you can actually change your PSN ID for a price. Not sure why the rest of the world doesn't get the option.

Can't you just sign up with a new PSN ID?

I can't see myself changing mine. I decided to use a name that was catchy yet have meaning to me. flightlessbeaker. Just rolls off the tongue

Yeah,but then you would have 0 trophies and start from new,many people wanna keep all that info too.

Ah. Gotcha. I guess people who don't give a damn about the trophies wouldn't mind then. I personally don't care much about trophies. I play the game to win, not get achievements Though I do admit it is sometimes fun to try and get certain ones for the sheer challenge of it.
