COD Ghosts

I've started playing the game a couple of days ago, and i'm still not hooked on it. I don't know, the game just hasn't clicked with me like the last ones i've played. I have to admit that i've always preferred the ones based on WW2, but i don't think that's the problem. Have any of you guys played or are currently playing it? Should i play it a little longer and see if it gets better? Would like to hear some of your opinions.

The game for me isn't fun because I don't like the meta game behind it.

Like I prefer an unlock order e.g. you unlock Assault Rifle A at level 4 and then SMG A at level 6 etc and then working with that weapon to unlock attachments and then working with those attachments to unlock more attachments. Like it was in MW2. Since then they've been okay with varying systems e.g. CoD points, unlock tokens and its stayed the same throughout until Ghosts and I honestly dislike the system of buying something instantly.

It was fun for the first and second prestige but since then I have over 500 squad points and unlocking all my fav classes isn't any effort and I'm not a challenge master so working with the challenges isn't all that important for me.

I liked the feeling of playing hard to unlock my fav attachment or weapon and Ghosts doesn't give me that feeling.

Well'i finished the game yesterday and it wasn't that bad. But i still think the older ones are better. It's true that all the modern stuff is a bit of a turn off. Also, i found the game extremely short for some reason. That was a bit surprising because the game is 26GB long and the graphics weren't that good. But, just to be fair, it wasn't bad.
