Coolest New Feature?

What do you guys think is the coolest new feature on the PS4? I think the coolest new feature is having a share button on your controller that lets you take a screenshot of your gameplay without interupting it and sharing the clip on the web.

For me, the best feature is you can play a game the instant you start downloading it. I mean, how does that even work magic? rainbows? elves? It's just crazy, its not like streaming a movie, how can you stream a game?!?

However its done, Sony have figured it out. I will look with great anticipation.

Incase you hadn't figured, I'm confused and a little strange.

I don't really know many on the PS4, but i know 2, i think the share button is really cool the way you can share screens and allow a friend to play with you and the parties, i know this was on xbox but i bet they are enhancing them

Yeah this topic has been done quite a few times before but to pretty much put in simple terms, the one new feature I'm most excited for is the new game streaming service Gaikai. It won't be available until sometime in 2014 but if it is successful it will mean that PS4 owners will have the ability to stream classic games from Sony's entire library of games. I also am really looking forward to recording gameplay with the PS4 as well.

I'm fairly excited about the new DualShock 4 actually. It seems to be fairly basic but in a good way. The size has been increased a little so people with bigger hands will surely appreciate that, and also the touch sensor thing on the back looks really good. It's not something that really makes me go 'wow!' but having a good controller is very important because you will be using it on many occasions over the course of years so you want it to be both functional and durable, and from what we've seen so far, the new pad will live up to those expectations.

I agree with Medza, gaikai, 2,000 friends, social chatting and stuff is all well and good, but the core gameplay abilities and accessories, i.e the dualshock 4 is really what im keen on.

Honestly, I wasn't all that impressed with the new features. I personally don't really feel the need for social integration into my consoles, but I'll have to experience it to be sure. I'd love to have had some of the Kinect controls on it, instead of a touchpad, but I suppose the technology will catch up soon enough and it will probably become standard within the next few generations of consoles.

I think I have said this before in this forum. Well, I'll say it again - the ability to record gameplay and share it online. But regardless of what features are added to the PS4, they would always be secondary to one thing - the graphical prowess of the console. This is all that really matters. At the end of the day it won't matter if your console can be used to browse the web or watch movies. What would matter is its ability to play games.

I don't know what feature I favor, because I haven't actually played this new gen system yet. Although I too, am a fan of the share button allowing you to share gameplay related screenshots. I think I would rather wait until the system releases to actually choose a favorite feature and all though.
