Some of you don't know who Corrine Yu is so let me enlighten you. Corinne Yu was a coder who worked at Gearbox, the Nasa Rockwell project and at Microsoft on Halo. She is a pretty big name so people were shocked when her linkedin profile changed to show that she was now a member of Naughty Dog. Also Corinne Yu wasn't just a programmer she was a major figure behind Halo 4.

Corinne Yu joins Naughty Dog

Corinne Yu is amazing, she's worked for everyone and I'm really surprised to see how many gamers know her and respect her work. I know her mostly because she was like the main coder behind Halo 4, so Naughty Dog getting is pretty shocking since I thought that she'd stick with Microsoft. I'm also surprised how big of a deal this is since it's gaming news.

Corrine Yu is talented, I just looked into her linkedin profile, but I'm not sure as to why it's such a big deal that she is going over to Naughty Dog. According to the gaming press, I'm supposed to be shocked by this but I don't get it. People transfer from different gaming companies all the time, so why is this big news? Was she that important in Halo 4's development.

Phill Harrison was earlier the VC of SCEA but now he is with MS. This stuff doesn't really matter in my opinion.

It feels like this is some kind of big deal and I don't get why. She's a big name and I guess it's a big get for Naughty Dog since she's worked on big projects and she gets a lot of credit for Halo 4 but apparently I'm missing something here. People switch companies in the gaming industry all the time and I don't see news sites writing even a sentence about it.

That is actually pretty cool. I enjoyed Halo 4, even though it isn't the best FPS. Naughty Dog has always made excellent games, so I'm happy that someone like Yu is joining their team.

It is good news. The woman is obviously talented to have been such a big part of Halo 4, though yeah it wasn't the greatest FPS ever, but I'm sure that if Naughty Dog wanted her that there is something that she brings that will make whatever projects she works on great.
