If you watched the teaser trailer for "Hotline Miami 2" on DeveloperDigital's Youtube channel before today, you might have read the description of the video announcing the game would be coming to Playstation 4, Vita, Mac, PC, etc. Well the Playstation 4/Vita part has now been edited out of the description, but not before being caught by NeoGAF and Google cache:

Here is what the full description read before the change:

A brutal conclusion to the gruesome saga, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number follows the escalating level of violence through multiple factions born from the events of the original game and driven by uncertain motivations. Step into the murderous mind of several distinct characters – each with their own motivations and methods of execution — as storylines intersect and reality slips away into a haze of neon and carnage. Blistering combat, an unmistakable visual style, and a powerfully intense soundtrack will once again push you to the limit and questioning your own thirst for blood.

Coming to PlayStation 4, Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux in 2014.

What do you say gang? Would you like "Hotline Miami 2" to arrive on the PS4 and PS Vita? Also, perhaps they changed this so it would be a surprise at the upcoming Gamescom? Let us know your thoughts as always!

Somebody just got fired lol. I'm sure they we're trying to save it as for an announcement or maybe they just don't have any interest in next gen consoles for the time being. I've never been a big fan of top down shooters so i never tried it. But i'd try it if they ever brought it to the PS4.

I hope it's true. What's odd is that it's not coming to PS3, but I sure expected the game to come out on Sony systems since the previous one did and it was very popular on them.

So the description got updated, and they removed the PS4 and the Vita. Now, it only says "Coming to PC, Mac, and Linux in 2014". We'll probably hear more at Gamescom though, let's just hope noone got fired.

Well, seeing how the first one ended up on the PS3 and PSVita, i think it's pretty safe to assume that the sequel will end up on those systems too later after the PC release.
I hope that we get more exclusive masks this time!
