Hotline Miami's controller controls.

I've only played through Hotline Miami on the PC and honestly can't fathom how the controller works with the game. So many fast paced twitch movements that had to be done with the mouse. I've heard that it controls amazing on the Vita so I can imagine it's similar with a controller.

How do the fast paced movements work on the controller? I can see it working if you can do a 180 on the console version, since on PC you have to turn on a fixed radius.

I've played Hotline Miami on Vita and it was great for me. It played pretty much like any other twinstick shooter, I guess. One stick moves the character, the other controls the character's rotation.
