Could we see Titanfall coming to PS4?

I don't really care if Titanfall ends up on PS4. I would be more interested in the sequel. I have it on PC and I loved the game but it ultimately did not have enough to keep me coming back for more after a few months of playing. I think that the next release may live up to the hype that the first one had before release.

I doubt Titanfall will be released on PS4 but the sequel definitely will. A lot of hype is going to build up for the sequel, especially seeing as it will be multi-platform. I really think that it will live up to its hype though. Hopefully they can build on the success of the first and make Titanfall 2 into an even better game.

I think the fact that the sequel is rumored to be multiplatform is the strongest indicator we can have that the original game wasn't as well received as it was expected, otherwise Micro$oft would fight hard to retain the exclusivity.
At this point the question should be, do we even want Titanfall 2 on the PS4? How could they improve upon the first game which wasn't that great?

Titanfall 2 is coming to ps4. Its so predictable. The hype for Titanfall 1 has cooled down, I havent heard anything about that game anymore. I dont really get titanfall, it doesnt look that fun in my opinion.

What about it doesn't look fun exactly, if you don't mind my asking?

Titan Fall was a great game, just like any of the COD games were great. Yes it became boring and repetitive, just like all of the COD games. It's better than any shooter on the PS4. The only thing that would have made the game better would have been single player campaign. Great story, great graphics, great gameplay.

I get what you are saying in your post. The hype is sort of dwindling but that doesn't mean Titanfall 1 isn't coming to PS4 soon. One thing I learn with this industry is the unpredictable nature of the gaming business and the release dates. So, it is exciting if Titanfall 1 does come out on PS4 but I won't be disappointed if it is doesn't come to fruition. As you stated, much of the talk is speculation.

I dunno if we're talking about the original coming to the PS4-are we?-but rather the sequel making the jump. Which happens far too often for my liking;having the sequel but not the original game which really bugs me since then I can't play the original without buying another console, which I might not have money for right then.

Titanfall doesn't seem to be a good game. That being said, I don't think there would be a ps4 release. But titanfall 2 is almost sure to be multi-platform. But I am not at all excited about titanfall, there are much better fps shooters like Battlefield 4. I think Titanfall 2 is going to be a flop.

See in my eyes not having Titanfall on PS4 would kind of ruin Titanfall 2 on the PS4 because Titanfall 1 did explain the story elements of the game e.g. they had a Multiplayer campaign which had cut-scenes and various pieces of information about the origins of the game.

If you were talking about a different game I would totally agree with you. However, there was almost zero story and I don't even think there were really cut scenes. The campaign in the game might as well not even existed. It consisted of regular multiplayer matches with a very brief reasoning for the fight before it began. It didn't even matter if you won or lost the match, you still moved on in the "story". If Titanfall 2 has even 20 minutes of dialogue it will have more of a story than 1, so I definitely don't think it will ruin the game for anyone.

The more I think about Titanfall the more I start to feel like it was almost an awesome Beta game. It lacked a lot of content and I think they will rectify their mistakes in the next offering.

To be fair the most sold game on Xbone is Titanfall... Doesn't say much seeing as though there aren't too many games out for it but it is also the highest rated one if I remember correctly. I think with the next instalment they can definitely create a more refined experience that doesn't get boring after a week.

I do see what you're saying.

However I guess its logic. I mean for me it doesn't make sense for me to have the second game on a platform but not have the first. I remember in the past with Xbox Only exclusives going Multi Platform they remade them for PS3 or even made HD Remakes for older games that were on the Xbox but not on the PS2 and made the remakes for the PS3.

It doesn't matter too much for a MP game but still, to me it would make them more money and more success if they brought it to the PS4 because some people may not buy the second one because they've only heard about the first one and not experienced it themselves.

Do we even know what Sony's network for PS4 will be like in contrast?

For this situation, it just sounds like everyone is getting jazzed up Microsoft's specs and writing off anything else.

If Microsoft's network turns out to be the best, that's a maximum, not a minimum. Sony's network can more than likely support Titanfall just fine. Microsoft may handle it better or just the same...

Since Plus now requires a paid subscription the Network is fantastic.
