Custom PS4 (Deadpool)

New Member
I recently got into the fun of taking apart my PS4 and modifying it to give it a more unique look. I'm hoping to share my work with others on here and possibly meet other people doing this. I would also like to get other viewpoints on how I could do things better or take ideas for other projects. I'll start with pictures of my first project a Deadpool themed PS4 and controller. I welcome constructive criticism.

Thanks everyone! Spidey and Superman will be added to my list of future projects. I'd love to make this a business but I wouldn't even know where to start. Making custom shells wouldn't be a problem and I could sell those however the led's and fan would require wiring on my part so I'd need the whole PS4. I'd either be dropping a lot of $$ to buy a new PS4 for each project or people would have to send them to me. I don't know anyone that's quite that trusting lol. I might buy one more and do a Spidey (Popular vote) or Superman and Ebay it to see what happens. I'm currently taking a 3 in 1 game system and putting it in a wooden case which I'm going to give a steam punk look.

Nice, let us know what happens with that and if you make enough profit,it may allow you to continue with more custom jobs.

Awesome.
Love to see what happens with that.
So this would include the PS4/Xbox One right? And??? (Surely not Nintendo?)

I'll def let you guys know how it goes, any thoughts on what I should charge for something like this? The 3 in 1 is actually an old 3 in 1 system with Sega, Nintendo, and SNES (Won't mind so much if I mess it up). I may however do a PS3 and 360 in one case when I get more accustomed to the modding field. If the 360/PS3 turns out well then there is definitely a future for XB1/PS4 combo console. I'll never use a Wii or Wii-U for anything. Tax return season is in a few months so come the beginning of 2016 I'll be pushing a lot of projects out.

dude i love steampunk.

as for business, start with ebay, if the demand is good make a websitenor something.

Wow, that's super nice, very well done! Deadpool is nice but the colors red and black make for a great combination!

I think they look good, but my PS4 is on a shelf in my unit under the TV so not really for me as no one would ever see it.

Yeah, if you don't plan on having your system out for anyone to see then you most likely don't need to modify it at all. How is the ventilation where it's located? I always hated putting my systems "in" the entertainment center. It seemed to get really hot in there after I ran it a while.

It does get a little hot if I play for long periods. I have no where else to put it really, I have my Xbox One on one shelf, PS4 on another, Tivo and Blueray on the third. I might look into one of those cooling fans eventually, some are only around $20.

Yeah, a lot of people use the laptop cooling fans for their PS4's, they are pretty cheap. It depends on how much room you have height wise on the PS4 shelf.
