Da Vinci Code

Has anyone here played Da Vinci Code on PS2? I was just looking at a description of it and now I'm dying to play it. It sounds like an interactive game of suspense and solving mysteries in places like Westminster Abbey.

Nope, but now that I have read this I want to play too. I bet my kids will like it too - they love mysteries. I'm going to take a look and see what the price is - might be a good Christmas gift. Thanks for the tip!

I played it but I didn't really like it. Maybe because I also read a lot and just couldn't get past my memory of the book--or the movie. I like games where I am not constantly comparing them to something else.

I have the same problems as MsKong-- I keep comparing games to the movies/books they're based on. Even the Harry Potter games went down like a lead balloon with me, because I couldn't stop thinking of the movies!

The movie Angels and Demons was the sequel to The Da Vinci Code. I just saw part of Angels and Demons when they ran it on one of the cable movie channels. That's what made me think of looking for the game. I know what you mean about comparing movies, books, and games. I've gotten to the point where I never read a book that I think might be made into a really good movie. If the book is really good, it doesn't matter how good the movie is. I just keep thinking, "The book was a lot better."

Ugh, same here! Although sometimes the movie turns out to be better than the book. The Devil Wears Prada, for instance. I hated the book, but the movie was a lot of fun.

I haven't played "The DaVinci Code" and I don't think I will either, as the book left me quite disappointed. I haven't seen the movie either. I suppose the mystery genre is not really for me.

@ Sheebi , "The DaVinci Code" for Christmas? That's a bit ironic, considering what the book deals with...
