If you are like me and you log on to BF4 and expect to have some fun just to realize NONE of your items you unlocked are accessible, the you might want to try this to get access to your earned unlocks.
Log into BF4 Multiplayer...
Press the PS button on your controller and go to settings.
Sign OUT of PSN...
Double press the PS button on your controller to go back to BF4. (you will see a dialog box telling you that you have lost connection to the network)
Press the PS button again on your controller and go back to settings.
Log back IN to PSN.
Double press the PS button again and log back into MP on BF4.
All your items should come back for your use.
This has worked for me.
