DCUO on PS4 for how long?

This game is abit out of date to be on the ps4
sure it is free to play and all but is there any lasting appeal for the next gen player
with the ps4 so much will be available this almost feels like a desperate attempt to
pull new people in for a peek at their game in hopes they will but something from their cash shop.
While the 2nd revamp of FFXIV is coming out and seems to promise much more being a newer game with much better gameplay and graphics
as well as Elder Scrolls Online is anyone really going to have time between their newest $60 game and 2 cool new mmos to really care?

Final Fantasy 11, which isn't even f2p (in fact, I find it to be overpriced even by p2p standards), was originally released on the PS2 and later released for 360 and PC - with no visual enhancements aside from resolution - and guess what, that game is STILL being played actively with expansions, which you have to buy on top of the monthly fee, still being released these days.
All of that regardless of all the other newer MMOs that came out since its launch.

So I don't think DCUO is really too old for anything.

Maybe they spice it up a little bit. When you see at the PS4 release list you will find some game that has been on the market for quite some time.

It is not too old for the PS4 at all. It is a free 2 play game but it uses online to make it happen so it is just like playing a MMO but on the PS4. Also it has good enough gameplay and graphics so I don't see the problem.

I will not say that this game is outdated. But yes, it's a bit old and will get boring after a few hours. The combat is really solid for a MMO, but there is nothing special about it aside from that.

The only thing that is making me wonder is that if they are just going to port the old game to the PS4. Maybe a few technical upgrades and graphical options so you can adjust to look even better than on PC.

Let's just hope the community doesn't die before arriving.
