Dead Island

Is anybody excited about the Dead Island game, or have already played it? I have not played it yet, because every time I go to the game store, it is sold out. I guess I am going to have to order it online. I just want to know if it is worth the trouble.

I have not played Dead Island yet, but it is on my wish-list. I asked the guy that works at my local game store, and he said he liked it. I like the fact that, in this game, you use any weapons you can find. It makes the game more realistic, when you are using every day items to kill zombies. Seriously, who has grenades and bazookas at their house?

I watched the trailer for this months before it came out and thought it looked really cool. The ratings are okay, not great, but I might just pick it up as a rental to try. I'm not a huge fan of zombie games but my boyfriend is obsessed. I think it might be fun for a while.

I've been looking at it, but I doubt I'll buy it. Right now I've still got L4D2 for my zombie fix.

How does Dead Island compare to L4D, I wonder. They look similar.

I took a pass on it because of all the negative reviews. It kind of sounds like a cult classic video game--a few will love it and play it forever because it's so quirky but most of us would rather spend money on a better game.

I haven't played the game so far either, but I'm looking forward to purchasing it as soon as possible. It may not be the best zombie game of the year, but the reviews convinced me that it is worth a try...

I have heard a lot of good things about Dead Island and I'm curious about it. I really want to try a zombie game but I'm not sure if I'll like it. I am considering renting it from our Redbox whenever it's not sold out.
