Deep Silver says that Metro franchise will continue

Deep Silver has stated that Metro franchise is going to continue. We definitely haven't see the last of it yet. It's not surprising to me as Metro Last Night was a cult hit. What do you think?

“While it launched in a very dry space in the gaming calendar this year, it still got a lot of attention. Our ambition is to absolutely continue with that brand and we will also, in the next phase, look to making it more accessible for a broader gamer audience.”

I'm already tired with the Metro series already. 2033, the first one was pretty decent. Last Light had the same gameplay aspects, but had better content in it. I really hope they don't come out with another game with the same exact graphics, but just changed the storyline just like how Last Light did with 2033. I first thought 2033 would be the one and only game, but it had such a predictable ending that led to another sequel. However, this one ended with a great ending. I don't know how they'll bring another series without ruining the previous one.

Warning flags: "more accessible", "broader audience". Just hearing that makes me expect them to screw it up and make it a lame Call of Duty imitator or something like that. Franchise's been good so far so I hope they know what they're doing and don't end up screwing it all up now.

It's Deep Silver after all. They publish the worst rubbish if they see that they can get some money out of it. Anyone remembers the off road racing game they published recently? I don't even remember the game's name. It was that bad!

It;s pretty much a given that they'll fuc* this up like they have continually done with other games. They never aim big as they have already stated in an interview. Their main aim is to stay profitable and earn enough to live a luxurious life.
