You do need PS Plus. The rest I don't know as I haven't played it.

You can play it with out ps plus but its hads maps on there that you need it its a 50.50 thing

It's totally your call. It's whether you would like a physical copy or one that stays on your console.
There are pros and cons to both. Like I prefer (and always will) physical copies as they are usually cheaper and I like being able to see my copy.

I want to clear all the details in destiny
To Help you out a bit just as I have played the game and enjoyed it, Yes you do not need the PS+ but you want to have it for co-op modes(the game is so boring if you just play solo), As far as a class to choose here is just my opinion if you are new to the first person shooter and not really that much of a hardcore gamer go for the Titan class and level up your Defender subclass as it is a must have as you will learn later on in the game because its a bloody tank compared to the rest, Second preferable character is warlock I haven't really spent a lot of time with it but so far love it to just amazing damage capabilities, and my least favourite is the hunter as he is squishy as F*!K but the blade dancer subclass is just amazing when in multi-player modes, then again that's just me hope you find this helpful and maybe just check you-tube for better explanation on subclasses.

Great assessment on the differences between characters!
I tend prefer to run 2 warlocks and 1 titan. The warlocks have great jump / float ability, and can do multiple grenades in solar or void spec. yes you need need exotics to get this perk Sunbreaker Gauntlets (sun spec) or Starfire Protocol (void spec). Last is the Sun specs Fireborne Radiance ability which allows you to resurrect when dead. Can't tell you how many times that has saved the team on nightfall, weekly or in the VoG to allow me to get one last hit in or come back and revive the team. Love the titan's shield weapons of light in particular and it's tank capabilities within the team. Of course YMMV.

Which class gets you Wings? I've seen glowing wings and wings of fire - both very cool - and are they an additional shield? Thx - I'm a warlock level 34
The wings you are referring to come from the Warlock Class Sunsinger Subclass. When you use fireborn to rez yourself you'll gain wings while radiance is active. They also have an ability that holds them in the air while aiming down sights which also gives a wing effect to them. While I don't recommend pausing in mid air the Fireborn talent is amazing and worth playing.
