Destiny Remote play on PS Vita options

Hi!

I have destiny and a playstation vita. Remote play to the vita works nicely - but I really cannot handle the controls! I want to use my PS4 controller, but whilst playing the game using the PS Vita as the screen. Is this possible - I have seen a couple of threads around on the internet saying how some people got that working - but I would love to know!

Please share ideas!

I recently looked into this and the process, from what I read, is very simple. All you have to do is log in to the Vita with a different account than the one you're using on the PS4, and then you enable remote play on the Vita. This should start remote play and show the game on the Vita while keeping the DS4 active.

It's pretty easy to do apparently, that's all there was to it, I never tried it because changing accounts on the Vita is way too much of a hassle to do it just for remote play.

So it seems you need 2 memory cards to do this. Has it been guaranteed to work - any videos or articles talking about it?

Sony should update remote play to allow this to be done easily. It's going to work on new xperia phones so why can't we use the Vita as a remote screen only? The only thing that stops me using remote play more often as the crappy controls, most PS4 games are pretty unplayable using Vita controls imo.

So you can just use a sub account on the PS4 and it will work just the same, the downside is you wouldn't get the trophies on your main account though.

Not to be "that guy," but what is the point? Destiny can already be played with a PS4 controller--it not being a Vita game. Why if would you want to play it on the Vita and use your PS4 controller? Why not just.... play on the TV?

Still though this information is good to know for people who want to play Vita-only games with a controller.

The reason I want to be able to do this Ciel is that sometimes my TV is being used by my partner - yet I want to play Destiny!!

I am buying a second memory card today - will let people know how I get on!

Ok so far I cannot get it to work.

I have a seperate PSN account im signed into on the vita - and my main PSN + account on the PS4. When I try to remote play I get the error CE-35406-8
Basically - you have to be signed into the same account on both devices for it to work?! So how the heck is this meant to work!?

What you do is you sign into the secondary account you created on both the Vita and PS4, then start remote play. After you start remote play and see the image on your Vita you press the PS button on the DS4 to sign in with your main account as controller 2. You should be signed in to your main account then and be able to control the Vita with the DS4. Just make sure it says it's your main account on the upper right corner, if not just press the PS button to switch it to your main and start up Destiny.

Whats the point of wanting this to happen. Just play it the normal way.
