DICE isn't working on "future projects or expansions" until Battlefield 4 is fixed.

So according to Kotaku and other gaming news sources, EA & Dice will not go forth with any new projects or DLC expansions until they fix their game. This is true customer support, this makes me happy and is a big node to developer care. I respect Dice a lot for this. Many people are frustrated, including myself, all the freezing and connectivity issues on all platforms. If you're a fan of Battlefield 4 this is amazing news. If you're not a fan though, maybe you're one of the lucky ones that have had the luck of stress-free gaming.

First, we want to thank the fans out there that are playing and supporting us with Battlefield 4. We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game – it is absolutely our #1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game. Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began withBattlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we're not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right.

What are your thoughts about Dice and their commitment to fixing Battlefield 4 and have you been affected by the freezing and disconnections?

Wow, that is pretty damn impressive if I do say so myself. Good for you Dice! I dig Battlefield 4 and I'm not too sure if they should work on a new Medal of Honor game... seriously the single player rocks though, multiplayer sucks.

I don't think I know of any other devs doing that. Prove me wrong please, would love to see infinite ward take inspiration from Dice.

I'd say good for EA and DICE to work on fixing BF4 before doing anything else. You don't sloppily make a sandwich, say "It's edible enough" then move on to the next one (which you are likely to make as sloppily if the last one was any indication).

I have read this as well, hope DICE can fix everything soon. EA pushed them to get the game out when it wasn't ready yet, don't blame DICE for the rocky launch, blame EA.
