The Dirty Old Bastards are a group of casual adult - meaning eighteen or older - gamers. Our outlook on gaming is rather simple and easy to understand: we're about having fun, playing with other tactically minded gamers instead of your typical lobby zombies and pursuing a peaceful slice of fun with like-minded friends. We don't tolerate those who wish to break the solidarity of the group or create drama, those types are weeded out and sent on their way.
We hold our members to higher standards, and those standards don't necessarily include kill-to-death ratios or things quantifiable through statistics. It has been our experience that while statistics are nice they don't do you any good if the person wielding these formidable stats isn't a team player.
At DOB you aren't going to be forced to play in "mandatory" events, you play what you want, when you want. Our Goal is to populate your friends list with like minded gamers, who love to play, and want someone else to play with!
While DOB isn't specifically a competitive Community, we do support members who want to take there gaming to a more competitive level (like we said, play what you want, the way you want too...just don't do it alone!).
