Do I Need To Reball My PS3 for Reliability?

I had a friend who had her PS3 for 2 years and it already failed so she has it reballed for $100 +. I have known my friend for so long and I know she always take good care of her things more than I do.

My concern is my PS3 is still ok but do I also have to reball it in order what had happened to my friends PS3 wouldnt happen to me?

I don't really it is really anything to concern yourself with. Games are not made like they use to be and Sony is no exception. They break down more easily and it is a real shame. Playstation is more reliable than Xbox and I am just glad that my PS3 didn't die out of the box like my 360.

You got a point there. My only concern is I want to be prepared now rather than having problems with it later if that happens. But sometimes I am thinking if it aint broken dont ever fix it.

Anyways, you are right Playstations are more reliable. I knew some friends who have both consoles and most of them had their Xbox fail first.
