Do you drink tap water or bottled water?

I have started drinking more tap water, but only at my mom's house. Her tap water is better than mine so I would rather drink it there than at my house. I still drink filtered water at my house and at work.

I drink tap, but my girlfriend buys bottled water like nobody else. I'm trying to convince her to buy the refillable ones, because bottled water is really bad for the environment.

There's absolutely no difference between tap and bottled. Tap might taste funny based on where you drink it but concerning the healthiness of them both, they're the same.

I agree that the health benefits are the same, but I think in some areas tap water is not as healthy as bottled water. I think it depends on the area that a person lives in. I think there is a difference in the tap water in some places because of the filtration system used and in the condition of the pipes in your house.

I've been reading about the negative health implications of consuming tap water. The flouride in it supposedly damages your brain. We get enough flouride from our tootpaste. I've been buying gallon jugs of spring water. When I ran out of that I did try to go back to tap water for a few days just to see how my body would react. The taste is much better with bottled water. And I began to get slight stomach aches when I reverted to the tap water. What about the rest of y'all?

The tap water in my country has fluorine and chlorine in it, but at least it's not recycled water. It comes from the rain, and we do get a lot of rain here. I prefer bottled water however.

Well, you make a good point here pal. The plastic bottles themselves are non-biodegradable and thus we have to endeavor to recycle them. We fall short of this on many accounts of course, and we see street littering every single day. Yup, the bottle is bad for the environment.

Tap water. Bottled water is almost always the exact same tap water but somebody was smart enough to convince people that it's somehow special and and is now making money off of it. I really don't see a point in buying bottled water, unless your tap water is brown or smells weird.Penn and Teller dedicated an entire episode of their show Bulls**t to talk about bottled water and how it's no different from your regular tap water.

I drink tap water.
I'm still fine, so it doesn't same all that bad. But I live in Portugal, the water is probably different.

Sometimes there is sand in tap water.Drink it only if you are physical active so it wont really damage your body !

I use bottle water mostly mineral water because it is free from germs and healthy. Tap water is not healthy for us; if you want to use tap water then you should kill the germs by boiling.

The tap water is definitely not safe. I drink bottled water at every chance i get. I use to have to boil the water until i just stopped all together. It makes my stomach hurt everytime i drink it.

Here in the UK tap water is pretty safe to drink. I normally use bottled water when I can easily dispense of money as I prefer bottled but as a student I don't really want to spend money on bottled water when tap water will do just fine pretty much all the time I need it.

Unless you live in a third world country or you crap in your own well, tap water is perfectly safe to drink. As for me, its both. When I'm home, I filter it (I don't like the chlorine taste). Work we have purified water. But I personally like bottled water. Specifically spring water. Poland Spring is my stuff. But I'll drink any water available to me if I'm thirsty (tap, bottled, filtered). I'm not picky.

Well, i must admit that when i started to watch all that Illuminati conspiracy stuff on Youtube, the fluoride thing really got me thinking and i started drinking bottled water. But maybe the conspiracy was invented by the bottled water companies just to make us buy their product.
