Do you play online?

Yeah, specially fighting games. How crazy it would be if i told myself years ago that i would be fighting people from the other side of the world in real time? Oh, the technology evolved!

Yup! I love playing Tekken online! I like beating up noobs and fighting with experts alike. It's so much fun. However, nothing beats a good old offline multiplayer battle with friends in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The screams and laughter are priceless.

I prefer playing co-op online to competitive multiplayer. The only exception that I make is for team deathmatch-type games. I'm generally not a huge fan of fighting games, though, so I really have no interest in playing online. I've never played a sports game online, actually, but I have no idea why since I usually have a copy of Madden lying around that I could use.

Of course I play online. There is only so much that you can do offline and since the majority of games have multiplayer modes to them now, you are almost missing out on half of the game if you don't go online. However, for those who do not have an Internet connection, they usually play games such as Black Ops 2 where you can simulate an online experience with bots.

Yeah I play online quite often actually though it's usually not competetive. I find myself playing games like Red Dead or GTA and just messing around, sometimes I'll play Uncharted TDM or Far Cry 3 TDM but not often.
I find that just goofing off online is more fun than having restricted areas of shooting some other team for 10 minutes. Also going really fast against other people going really fast on Wipeout HD.

I play online some of the time, but atm I been very busy playing stuff on my PC, I most looking forward to playing online on my PS4.

Sure I play online. One of the reasons why I prefer the PS3 over the Xbox 360 is that you can be quite casual about playing online. I don't have to pay, and I can just drop in a couple of times a month to play BF3 or sometimes even 1943.

I think the only purpose of buying games is to play online. Because Yeah its fun playing the campaign but its also better playing with other people to share your experiences.

I think it depends on the game.
Some seem like MP games with campaign addded, some seem more like SP campaign games with a crap MP added on.
Some are strong in both.

GTA and RDR for eg are excellent in SP,MP can be fun but its still not those games main strength.

Games like CoD and BF ofcourse I think are really the other way around.Campaigns are OK but most fun is to be had with the MP part.

But since the PS3 the MP aspect is as big a part as SP now on most games. When we were playing PS1 and PS2 it was all about SP.

I easily get bored when I play alone so I prefer to play online rather and it's always much more exciting doing better than your friends or comparing to them.

Face it, there are annoying people wherever you go, both online and offline. The best thing to do is to just ignore them and enjoy the multiplayer, but the satisfying thing to do is to constantly hunt them down and hear them rage a little louder each time. I will say that most online gaming communities are comprised of prepubescent morons who, even though some of them may be as old as twenty five, try to be as idiotic as possible to make your life as hard as possible. Most of the time I will go without headsets for this reason, but you do not have to let them ruin the experience for you.

Of course I play online. Besides adventure games, I always play online. I dont find it very fun playing sports games or shooting games against the computer.

Yeah I actually do play online as I think that it always gives you something to do when you finish up the single player campaign of a game. Currently, I've been playing Super Street Fighter IV online, as I've been practicing a lot and one of the best ways to get better is to challenge great players form all over the world. I also find FPS games to be pretty fun when playing online although they can get out of hand sometimes.
