Do you still use your PlayStation 1/2 ?

Sometimes I just want to remember the fun I had on my older consoles, so I plug them in and play my favorite games, some of them are still incredibly fun like Spyro, Tony Hawks, Jak and Dexter, Ratchet and Clank.
It's a great felling, am I alone on this? :p

I don't own both my PS1 and PS2 any longer. As soon as I got a PS3 I had no interest in PS2 any longer, especially since it has backwards compatbility. The same was true when I first got a PS2, my PS1 was left to gather dust. I've since sold both of them. I'd still honestly enjoy playing some classic games that I used to play as a kid though, so I can see where you're coming from!

Unfortunately, no. My Playstation 1 died during a recent flood in my hometown. I am quite disappointed at myself for failing to save something that played an important role in the development of my childhood. I miss you, PeEsJuan :/.

I love playing on both of my old consoles as well. I have lots of PS and PS2 games and I love playing them over and over. I don't plan on getting rid of these consoles ever. I will keep them in good condition so that I can keep on playing them in the years to come.

It's been a long time since I've played a PS2 game, but I've played a bunch of PS1 games on my PSP. I'm currently playing Xenogears, and I recently finished Breath of Fire IV.

I never had a PS1 but I used to play my PS2 from time to time before going to college, haven't played it ever since but I have no intention to throw it out anytime soon.

I still use my PS2 once in a blue moon. There are a lot of games in that system that I want to play all over again. However, not all of my discs function because a lot of them already have heavy scratches. As for the PS1, I can no longer play it because it no longer functions. Fortunately, I have an emulator installed which allows me to play PS1 games on my PC.

I don't, but that is only because I don't have them anymore. I traded in my PSX to get my Gamecube. I then sold my PS2 to my cousin when I got a Wii. I definitely miss them sometimes though.

I love all my consoles and I try to play them often just to kerp them in working order. I don't like to get rid of a lot of my favorite things so they will be around for a long time.

Nope. I sold my PS2 and most of my games when I upgraded to the PS3. It was a sad day. Even worse was when my backward compatible PS3 died along with all of my saved games.

I still play Final Fantasy VII once in a while, but technically I play it on the PS3. Beyond that, I would have to say no. I did play Raiden the other day, that game hasn't aged poorly one bit.

I'm replaying FF8 on PS1 now, along with a few of the other games I like off an on, so yes. I think I needed a break from the modern games for a while, and I just had access to a PS1 so I went for it. I'd prefer to play PS2 and its games, but I don't have one or a friend who still has one, but the PS1 is also pretty good.

I personally owned a few PS2 consoles but due to unavoidable reasons I had to sell them to my friend. Though I always miss them I am now owing few PS3 consoles so it does not bother me much as I can always play when their is need for.

My PlayStation 1 is basically history, as it is gathering dust and most of the games I've played no longer function. As for the PS2, it is still gathering dust, but I only play it seldom. These days, I just save the PS2 for games which I truly enjoy playing.

I don't consider the PS2 an old console, actually. I have not stopped playing on it since I bought it. I have continuously picked up new games for it (considered "old" by other standards) and find good titles to try out. You can find me playing Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damacy, Dance Dance Revolution games, and other popular titles quite often. The PS2 had such a huge library with great selections. I'm still upset that they took out the PS2 carts from GameStop! I always found the best deals in those.

I never owned an original Playstation, but my PS2 gets use from time to time. I brought it out during the summer last year (2012) to play through all the Final Fantasy games I own. What a summer.

I've been in university since though, and I'm pretty limited for space as it is. While I would like to have brought my PS2, I'm going to have to wait until after uni, when I can afford a proper apartment.

I still use playStation 1.Only one game working lool.Disk spinning is the problem, only slowest/original games with black foil works.Probably i will fix it one day!

My brother got the PSOne for Christmas one year. I still have and I believe some wires. I don't think I have an adapter. I still have FFVII. In the same drawer, there's the console for the original PS...but I can't remember if I bought it or if someone left it over (that's how I got my Dreamcast, a friend left it over in 2003).

...this is going to bother me now. I should hook it up and play it anyway. I still have memory cards.

I have a PS2 still. My first one broke, but I fixed it and sold it later to split the cash on a Wii and a PS3. I bought a second PS2 (they were selling like $.25 bags of chips in '96) and play it regularly in the spring...yep, seasonal playing :D

Nah man, don't bother with fixing your PS1. It would cost you more money than you want to. Besides, there are a couple of great emulators out there that you could use to play PS1 games on your netbook. Just purchase a game controller and you're good to go.
