Do you think that gamestop is a rip off? I often hear a lot of people say they will not go to them for their games. I have no choice because there are not many game stores where i live. I feel walmart is jut as bad. I hate trading in my games there because i fee like im getting cheated out of value.

Gamestop is called EB Games here is AUS,or owned by the same company and yes,they are a rip off here in AUS too.

That's why the department type stores are always cheaper,K-Mart,Target and BigW for eg.
But many people (including me) buy their games online,and even then mostly imported from another country.

Sometimes I go inside EB to see what they have,accessories mostly or whatever and am suprised at how busy these places often get and that so many people are paying such high prices for games from EB (Gamestop).

All games here in the US are 60 bucks regardless of where you go. I normally buy from GameStop if I am getting used or preordering. If I'm walking in a store on a whim to buy a brand new game, I'll go to Best Buy. Why? I don't agree that GameStop's "new" games are out of the box and in an envelope in a drawer. How would I know if its actually new or not or a used disc in the drawer that they put in a "new" case. If you preorder, its still wrapped so that's why I preorder from Gamestop and get the points. I'm on their Pro Membership and the coupons I get for my points are pretty good.

I've actually never had a single problem from Gamestop. Then again I've only traded in one game my entire gaming life lol

I wouldn't asy a rip off exactly, but if they got more of a competition from gamefly, it would force them to be more competitive.
