I use a laptop. I get really uncomfortable in computer chairs (especially my tailbone and back), so having the freedom to relocate as needed is crucial. It's really nice to be able to set up shop outside in the morning with a cup of coffee - a luxury unavailable to desktop users. The only downside of using a laptop is running PC games - not having a mouse because I'm a cheapskate and overheating/the settings having to be on low. But, we all must make sacrifices. I'd prefer to enjoy the morning sunshine and a nice breeze.
