Who else completely loves this reboot of this classic series. Over the past year I have watched up to season 6 on Netflix and I'm absolutely fascinated by this great show. It completely caught me off guard with how much I liked it and how addicting it got. The ninth doctor (Christopher Eccleston) was probably my favorite since he was the first one I knew. I know that a lot of Who fans don't care for him, but I loved it! I really think more people would have opened up to him if he got at least one more season to play the doctor. David Tennant played a great 10th doctor and really fell into the role quite good. Matt Smith, the 11th doctor is also good, the problem for me is that during his seasons they switched show runners and Moffats version is just a little different than the way Davies ran it. Still good though! I just prefer Davies writing style more. As for favorite companion? Mine is definitely Rose Tyler. Although Martha Jones is a close second.

Anyways, what does everyone else think of the reboot of this series? Who is your favorite doctor of the run so far, and who is your favorite companion? Are you excited for the next doctor?

I used to watch Dr Who in my younger days and while I still think its good I dont follow it anymore though I have seen a few eps here and there and I did watch the special 'Day of the Doctor' one.
I think David Tennant is great as the doctor but I still think the best ever was Tom Baker,you cant go past his scarf and Jelly Babies..lol
And it was great to see

I used to watch Dr Who in my younger days and while I still think its good I dont follow it anymore though I have seen a few eps here and there and I did watch the special 'Day of the Doctor' one.

I still haven't seen Day of the Doctor yet! Im waiting until I catch up with season 7 because I really enjoy watching the story fold out in order. Tom Baker is cool. I've watched some of his old episodes, and I think he might be the best classic Doctor. You should definitely watch the whole new series if you're interested in that kinda thing. Have you even seen Torchwood, the slight Doctor Who spinoff? I think I'm going to be checking that one out next. I have a feeling it won't live up to Doctor Who at all though.

I watched the first few eps of Torchwood but it didnt really interest me.

I feel like it will be the same for me. I know the character captain Jack from Doctor Who is one of the main characters, but besides that it seems like it was trying really hard to play off Doctor Who's massive success. I'll post a review of Torchwood when I start watching it.
