Does anyone else want another Final Fantasy Tactics?

This game hold a lot of personal value to me since it was my first RPG I played. Back when the PlayStation 2 was about to come out, I was playing Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSOne. I have to admit that I put over two hundred hours into this game and I don't regret a single second. This is my second favorite FF game, FF VII being number one of course. This game has potential for a sequel or spiritual sequel at the least. It's either the way it's structured or the mechanics make this game so awesome and I would recommend it to any turn-based tactic RPG fan. I have my hopes but I want to know what you guys think.

I didn't play the one on the PSX, but I played the GBA version. It was a good game, but I never finished it because it was a little repetitive. With that said, I would welcome a new addition to the series.

I want some FF Tactics goodness on the PS3 or the PS4. I played Tactics on the PS1 and I thoroughly enjoyed it... except for the fact that the game kicked my butt in the later stages and I was not able to finish it because I was stuck with a party that sucked and a boss too powerful with no possibility of turning back. I want to redeem myself. Square, make another Final Fantasy.

I've played FF Tactics for the PS1, and it was a great game. While this game deserves a sequel, it is a question of whether Square Enix will make a profit from it or not when the game is released. But I personally agree that a sequel to FF Tactics is long overdue.

Definitely! Final Fantasy Tactics A2 was one of my favourite DS games, so I'd happily buy any sequel that comes out. I would be surprised if it was released for PS3/PS4 as opposed to Vita/3DS though - spin-off Final Fantasy titles seem to find themselves on handhelds more than consoles.

I do need to get around to finding a copy of the PS1 FFT some point soon though; which one would people say is better?
