I loved this service. Back in the early 90s I think it was, you could use your phone line through XBand's monthly service to dial up other local players in your area code and play against them in Mario Kart, Killer Instinct and other games. The service was available for SNES. It was so much fun. Yes, you had to play the same people over and over again but it was better than playing against the computer all day. I remember that after the game ended you could pick up your phone line and speak with the other person that you played against. Ah, the memories!
