Does PS4 supports 120-144 Hz ?

Hi guys,

I have boughht latest PS4 limited edition and Benq XL2411Z monitor(1ms & 60-120 upto 144Hz) capable but i want to change the settings to 120Hz or above on PS4.

Q1: Does PS4 support above 60Hz? If yes, Should I need to upgrade the HDMI cable to latest version in order to support the maximum of Hz (which is more than 60Hz) ?

Q2. I gotta feeling that using this monitor's higher 120-144hz paid for nothing if PS4 native doesnt support morethan 60Hz? :-(

PS4 max out at 60hz, some games max out at 30. Why do you need more anyway? the difference is not noticeable.
