I'm hoping they will patch an option to turn off the lightbar because gaming in the dark is bothersome.

It would be great if they did. Like you said, that light is kind of on the overkill side.

My brother went with electrical tape for his and hates it. I suggest these and he might pick one up.

The PS4 should've came with something to put over the light if they knew they weren't going to have an option to turn it off.

A piece of duck tape is a lot cheaper

A piece of duct tape is hideous though. I mean you're not looking at that end and you're unlikely to actually look and notice it when in the middle of gameplay, but it's hideous.

Tape on anything hideous. Even clear scotch tape.

Clear tape would make the light bar's light bounce around, wouldn't it?
