Dualshock 4 Trigger Problem

So I just bought my PS4 and popped in Killzone to play for the first time. It was when I got the first gun that I realized I couldn't ADS. I switched button layout and the new command for L2 was now not working. Obviously, the L2 button on my controller is not working (nothing physical just does not input anything). I haven't found anyone else having this problem. Is anyone else in the same boat? Any suggestions on what to do?

If its not working at all maybe your best bet is to go back to where you bought your PS4 and controller from (I presume its the controller that came with your PS4,not a separate bought one) and ask them to exchange the controller for a new one.
If they deny that then go through Sony,Im sure they will replace it.

I think its better to do this than risk opening up the controller, you prob wont get a replacement then if you mess with it.

Ok I will try this. Thanks. Is there any specific way I should contact Sony or just the normal support number?

Havent done it myself yet,so support number as listed on your PS4 manual I guess??,either way Im sure they would put through to the right department otherwise.

btw: Ive read on a forum here in AUS some people swapping their controller for a new one too, some places of purchase refused even though Im sure by law they should replace it,depends on your country's law I guess.
But you should try place of purchase first,it may be quicker as they may swap it right there.

Let us know how you get on.

The store replaced the controller with an individual one without having to return the whole system. Take note that the individual controllers do not come with a USB connector.

Yeah,I knew they would replace the controller only.
So it worked out for you then, good.

Is the new controller fine?
