I adored this game on the NES and it was probably the earliest example of a not-atrocious game based off an existing IP. I'm so excited to play the remake! Will anybody else be picking it up?

I am amazed that they managed to secure all the original voice actors for it, including Alan Young - the voice of Scrooge McDuck - who is now in his 90s.

I've never been much of a fan of Ducktales, not the show nor the game, neither am I a HUGE fan of WayForward (they're cool though), but for some reason I am just so excited for this remake!
I don't know if it's the amount of passion visibly oozing out of every bit of this, the amazing attention to detail, the extra mile they went, even though they definitely didn't need to, to get the voice actors or if it's simply because I want to see other games, games I'm way more fond of, being remade like this (or how about a NEW Mega Man by WayForward? :3) or what, but I just really want to play this!

Thanks for posting this although I heard about this a while ago, I never did see the actual trailer for the game. It is definitely a game that I never did expect to be remasterd anytime soon. Still, I'm sure there are many people out there who are really looking forward to this. I might even check it out myself now after seeing the trailer.

Capcom re-issues NES DuckTales as an ultra-limited golden cartridge

Aaagghhh, it looks so cool. I could totally dive into a safe filled with these.

Man, I really wanted something like that for Megaman 9 but I could never find that cartridge I saw anywhere. I think it was only for the press and such.
Such a bummer... This stuff is so cool but I don't think I quite care about DuckTales enough to buy this special edition ;_;

It's tempting though

Ugh, i know that this won't be as good as the original, knowing how Capcom is and how they are just playing with my nostalgia sense, but i already know that i will give up and end up buying it. Let's just hope that it is as fun as i remember!

The Moon Theme sounds pretty good to me from what I've heard in a review and such (which was very positive so far, btw)

This is a game that I've been following for quite a while and I like what I'm seeing so far. The original game was all about the sense of adventure and fun, and the remastered version still seems to capture it, but with a much more modern feel to it. Obviously I don't know what the final product will be like, but it is looking very promising at the moment.

This is the type of game that forms lifelong love for games. Ducktales was a key part of my childhood. I'm so glad they decided to make a Ducktales: Remastered.

For anybody looking to play it on Steam, you may want to consider buying a key from GreenManGaming. $15, with an additional 20% off if you use this voucher:

I'm personally getting it for Wii U, mainly because my OCD is telling me that I simply cannot buy it on a non-Nintendo console because the original was on the NES, but it might be of use to some of you other folks..
