I'm not sure why EA is posting this news because it seems like something Sony should do, but their confirming that the day one update (1.50) for the PS4 is causing major problems for anyone who would play games on the console. Remember just like the Wii U and the Xbox One, in order to activate a lot of the features on the PS4 we'll have to download the update that is if you want to use Vita remote play and gameplay sharing. And I want to share my gameplay.
Here's the thing, at least for me. If this was just EA titles, I wouldn't care but it looks like according to EA that the problems extends to every single game on the PS4. That means you'll get and I'm quoting here: "crashing/freezing and non-responsive connections between the player's console and their TV Screen."
In my mind that means that the issue is the firmware and Sony will need to rush out and fix it. And Sony has also confirmed, so hopefully they get things up and running soon.
I hope they do because the last thing Sony needs is a bad launch. The PS4 is supposed to make them money after all they haven't really made any on the PS3. So what about you guys? Is this going to stop you from buying a PS4 right now?
